Mike Waters President of Phase 1 Sports has dedicated his time to developing athletes of all ages. Working with high level athletes like Gary Payton, Terrance Williams, Mike Zaher, Stephanie Brewster, Sequoia Holmes and a number of high school athletes.
His training programs have been responsible for hundreds of athletes reaching their athletic goals. With a combination of functional strength training, movement, and SAQ (speed-agility-quickness) each athlete regardless of the sport will become stronger and more athletic.
As an athlete your number one performance training goal should always be to become a better athlete. No matter what level you are on coaches will always be impressed with the most athletic athletes on the field or court! With that in mind Mike Waters and Phase 1 Sports has made training that much easier.

Prepare Perform Training Program
Prepare Perform Membership $125/mth
(2 complete programs per month)
Program 1
Individualized Strength and Conditioning program (gym/weights required)
- Program will be designed based on the individual goals of the athlete.This program is for advanced athletes and/or athletes that want to focus on specialized individual goals. Athletes that know their strengths and weaknesses or have a need to focus more on specialized areas of there athletic ability can have a program designed to focus on those needs. This program includes training goal for the month based on National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Optimum Perfomance Training Model (OPT). Program is complete with sets, reps, rest periods, etc.
- Includes monthly consultation to discuss progress.Prepare Perform Option 2 includes a monthly phone or email consulatation to discuss individual goals and progress from the previous month of training. This will assure that your training program and execution of your program will match your athletic goal.
- Dynamic warm up and StretchWhen compared to static stretching (stretch and hold), dynamic warm up and stretch has proven to be more effective. Each program includes dynamic warm up and stretch, which will be completed at the start of each program.
- Core Training ProgramThe core consists of two muscle groups one being movement and the other being stabilization. In order to improve overall core strength an athlete must train both groups. Each training program includes both movement and stabilization training exercises.
- Cool Down to complete training programOnce the strength and conditioning program is complete it is very important to return the body back to a resting state. In order to do so a cool down will also be included in the program.
- Video Tutorial to assure correct training techniques and formIn order to assure proper form on training exercises a video tutorial will be provided with each new training program.
Program 2
Individualized Movement Program
(includes speed agility quickness power and vertical training)
- Program will be designed based on the individual goals of the athlete.This program is for advanced athletes and/or athletes that want to focus on specialized individual goals. Athletes that know their strengths and weaknesses, or have a need to focus more on specialized areas of there athletic ability can have a program designed to focus on those needs. This program includes a combination of speed, agility, quickness, power, and vertical training. If there is a specific area that needs to be the focus point, the program will be adjusted. The program is complete with distance, reps, rest periods, etc. As the program advances athlete may need additional trainng tools. Example include parachute, speed ladder, medicine ball, etc.

This will assure that your training program and execution of your program will match your athletic goal.

Prepare Perform Option 3 (Price based on number of training sessions)
(Based on training with a Phase 1 Sports performance trainer directly, athlete must be in Las Vegas, NV)
Prepare Perform Option 3 is designed for beginner athletes age 10 and up through advanced professional athletes. To maximize your results you will be with your trainer every set and every rep of your training session. This will also assure proper form and techniques during your strength and conditioning training and your speed, agility, quickness, power, and vertical training. Having a trainer has also proven to be great motivation to maximize overall results.

- Includes continuous consultation to discuss progress.Athlete will be in constant communication with their trainer and Phase 1 staff. This will assure that your training program and execution of your program matches your athletic goal.
- Dynamic warm up and StretchWhen compared to static stretching (stretch and hold), dynamic warm up and stretch has proven to be more effective. Each program includes dynamic warm up and stretch, which will be completed at the start of each program.

NOTE: The strength and conditioning portion of these prgrams are designed for high school level athletes and higher. If you are not a high school or higher level athlete we recommend not doing the strength and conditioning portion of these programs. However we do recommend the movement programs as a great way to start your athletic development.

Phase 1 Sports, Inc. will not be responsible for any injuries that may result from any of these programs. Athletes should be properly supervised during the execution of any of these training programs.
